Karan Aanand was born on 4 January 1981 in a beautiful family of Mr. Om Babu (National Hockey Player) & Mrs. Shankuntala Gupta. He got his first role in the telly film 'Amrut Kumbh' where he acted the character of 'Lakshmana'. Before shifting to Mumbai, he worked in the repertory for quite some time.
In Mumbai, Aanand joined the theatre group 'Ekjute', and stayed very active on the theatre till he got his first break in TV show 'Chittod Ki Rani Padmini Ka Johur'. He was appreciated a lot for his role in the serial 'Kabhi Toh Milke Sab Bolo', which also received awards by Bihar Governor and Lions Club.
His role was not only bound to the Bollywood movies – he worked in movies of other languages such as 'Kable Aai Bahar' (Bhojpuri) and 'Ami Shubhash Bolchi' (Bengali).
He got his first movie’s screen appearance in the Bollywood movie 'Gunday' and then his role was followed by 'Kick', where his action scenes were praised. But he truly received recognition for his spy-act in 'Baby'. Karan had also done a cameo in Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Calendar Girls'. Chasing his dream, he has gone through many offers but prefers to act only truly challenging roles even if the part is small. Karan is coming with a Bollywood horror movie ‘Lupt, which is directed by ‘Prabhuraj’ will be relased on 5th October 2018. However, ‘Rangeela Raja’, directed by Pahlaj Nihalani is his another upcoming movie with ‘Govinda’ in November 2018.
